Child safety standards

PortaPics is a moderated photo community. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), grooming, or any content that sexualizes minors. This page describes our published standards and how we prevent, detect, report, and remove violating material.

Who may use the Service

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly allow accounts that violate applicable age requirements. See also our Privacy Policy.

Prohibited content and conduct

You must not use PortaPics to upload, share, solicit, or facilitate any of the following:

• CSAM or any visual depiction of a minor engaged in sexual activity or lascivious display;
• Content that sexualizes, grooms, or endangers minors;
• Links or instructions intended to obtain CSAM or to exploit minors;
• Any other conduct that violates child safety laws or our Community Rules.

Violations may result in immediate account termination, content removal, and referral to law enforcement or child-safety organizations.

Pre-publication moderation

User-submitted photos enter a human review queue before they are published to the public feed. Moderators may approve, reject, or escalate submissions. Content that appears to involve minors in a sexual or exploitative context is rejected and handled under our enforcement procedures below.

In-app reporting

Signed-in users can report posts, comments, and accounts from the in-app menu (Report). Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Users may also block accounts to stop further interaction. If you see content that may involve a child in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

Review, removal, and enforcement

When we become aware of possible CSAE or CSAM, we:

• Remove or restrict access to the content and associated accounts as quickly as practicable;
• Preserve relevant records as required for investigation and legal compliance;
• Review related reports and patterns through our admin moderation tools;
• Cooperate with law enforcement and authorized child-safety organizations.

Reporting to authorities

Where required by applicable law, we report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and to other relevant regional or national authorities. We comply with valid legal process from law enforcement.
